Hey! I’m Cindy Wisdom, yep that’s my real last name and the name behind Wisdom Bookkeeping.
I have lived all over! I was born in Indiana, grew up in Cleveland, OH, went to Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Then I moved to Kansas City where my two daughters were born. I relocated to Florida to be the CFO for a Radiology-MRI group that a friend of mine was starting up. My husband passed away and now I’m located in Central Georgia!

I have over two decades of extensive experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and financial analysis, I have honed my expertise in delivering precision and excellence across diverse sectors, including healthcare, manufacturing, and banking. My leadership roles have encompassed positions such as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), where I have been instrumental in steering organizations towards financial stability and enhanced profitability.
My proficiency spans a broad spectrum of financial disciplines, including Financial Reporting & Analysis, Forecasting & Budgeting, Cost Control & Savings, Medical Billing & Collections, Compliance Assurance, and Auditing & Controls. Additionally, I have a strong background in Business Plan Writing, Employee Benefits, Program Creation & Execution, Funding Resource Management, Database Creation, Profitability & Revenue Enhancements, and Productivity Optimization. I am a Certified Advanced ProAdvisor for QuickBooks Online which is only earned by the top 10% of bookkeepers nationally! I was a CPA at one time but I foolishly let it lapse when I relocated to Florida, so I am an accountant.
Beyond my professional endeavors, I cherish spending quality time with my family, reading, enjoying movies, dining out, and traveling—activities that enrich my life and provide balance. My secret passion is bingeing on reality TV!
My sister Kathy is my fulltime partner and my two daughters help out when they’re needed, they all have their own strengths that they contribute.
